The Links GC Tee Times Available Friday AM, August 6

Gentlemen: At all of our tournaments, all players should be playing from the same set of tees. Generally, this will be the white tees, but occasionally a course like Wandermere or Lewiston Country Club is shorter, and we will drop back to a longer set of tees (and this will be announced on the score cards and on the registration table and by the starter). Some of you older members, who remember that we once allowed members 75 years and older, with a handicap of 30 and over to play from forward (red) tees, should understand that we dropped this age/handicap exemption in 2006. PLANNING ON RENTING A CART? They have plenty. You don't need to reserve a cart until you get to the course.

BRINGING YOUR OWN CART? Don't forget to pay your cart fees. And, please park your car/trailer in the gravel lot or out on the street and save the asphalt parking lot for all our other non-cart golfers. Thanks!!!

Members: You have got to check your scorecard hole by hole before attesting your score at the end of the tournament. We have had several cases AGAIN THIS year (2010) of people signing for a wrong hole score, and it cost them $$$. Your signed scorecard is what we have to accept. Take the NECESSARY TIME to CHECK the scorecard after the round is finished before you SIGN FOR IT AND HAND IT IN.

One more time........TAKE YOUR TIME AND CHECK YOUR HOLE-BY-HOLE SCORE BEFORE SIGNING YOUR SCORECARD!!!!!
